Meet Caavo, a sleek system where TV devices and services come together to offer ultimate control. Caavo unifies up to eight broadcast, streaming, and gaming devices behind a consistent user interface for direct access to content. In mid 2016, Caavo approached Alloy to provide their internal ME team some architectural guidance, with a focus on the analysis and design of a passive thermal management circuit. Alloy also helped resolve various industrial design DFM challenges, such as the cable management peg cumulative reveal tolerances as they pass through the rear edge of the bamboo cover. Caavo’s elegant design and tight engineering bring forth a home entertainment system which will be friendlier and simpler for its users.
