Aurizon™

Ziosk revolutionized the restaurant dining experience with their first tabletop touchscreen tablet for convenient ordering, secure payment, and entertainment.  Ziosk and Alloy collaborated closely to develop the next generation AurizonTM tablet with improved form, function, and robustness.  Compared to the previous Ziosk® tablet model, the Aurizon has a 20% larger display, 20% larger battery, additional printer functionality, and enhanced payment security, all while simultaneously packaged in a smaller overall envelope.  Alloy was a key part of helping develop a product that meets industrial design needs while keeping an eye on manufacturability and reliability.  Alloy worked on  all aspects of the mechanical design, from building a range of sub-system concept prototypes to supporting design validation builds at the contract manufacturer.  The final tablet incorporates a sleek, compact, modern design with ease of use and the durability to withstand the knocks and spills of a busy restaurant.   Alloy also helped develop a 6-battery charging bay, again collaborating with Ziosk to explore different configurations and integrate a clean design.  Alloy worked on the mechanical design through a  pre-production design.
