ChargePoint is a global leader in electric vehicle charging technology, featuring the world’s largest charging network. ChargePoint Express 250 is a DC fast charging station with a refined appearance designed for ease of customer use. Alloy initially joined the team to run analyses on several high risk areas of the design. As our working relationship with ChargePoint developed and the design progressed, Alloy’s role grew to include mechanical design of many subsystems including the structural frame, internal module connection mechanism, busbars, and external covers. As one of Alloy’s largest projects to date, we worked with ChargePoint’s internal team for over three years to develop hundreds of parts and assemblies. Alloy’s contributions helped move the product from concept to production.
