Starting off college building race cars, Max transitioned into a biomechanical focus that included bone testing, robotic cockroaches and eventually assistive devices. After honing his engineering skills making prosthetic biking legs and interning for a muscle stimulation startup, he continued his love for learning and design at Alloy. Outside of work, he can be found somewhere along the California coastline, probably on top of a large rock.
